Bundi Fort, Rajasthan Travel GuidesA small town near Kota, Bundi is located at the footsteps of a large craggy hill and was named after Bunda Meena. Surrounded by the Aravalli hills on three sides, Bundi is circumscribed by a massive wall with four gateways.

Bundi is located in the southern part of the state of Rajasthan and is 206Km from Bundi and 36Km from Kota. The place offers the chance to explore its unique culture with baoris , palaces & forts , lakes and the beautiful natural surroundings. Bundi is known for attractive step wells and tanks which are about 50 in number and mark the town's streets and bylanes. Interesting monuments including impressive medieval forts, palaces, 'havelis', temples and 'chhatris' with elegantly carved pillars, along with a picturesque lake in the heart of the town, add to its appeal.
