The
Heritage on Wheels is a luxury train on the metro gauge in the state of Rajasthan
that travels to the rarely explored regions of Bikaner and Shekhawati. The Heritage
on wheels brings back to life the high quality school of Paintings that blossomed
in this once semi arid region for about two centuries. In the present days,
it has been referred to as the open air art Gallery of the sand dunes state
of Rajasthan.
The Luxury train Heritage on Wheels comprises of 14 saloons that includes
the spaces for a restaurant and a lounge bar. Fully air-conditioned, the train
does not have facility of attached toilets and bath in the cabin. Each coach
has two toilets shared by four cabins. The ambiance inside the train is of
Royalty. All the settings including the chairs, the beds and the dining hall
in the restaurant are masterly done to offer the best of the services possible
on the moving wheels. Each carriage in the train has the capacity to accommodate
about eight guests on board with bathrooms on sharing basis. On halt at particular
destinations,the deluxe coaches take the visitors to the sites and again back.

Important Places Covered : Jaipur - Bikaner - Nawalagarh - Mandawa -
Ramgarh - Jaipur.
Duration of Operation : October and March
Charges : Tariff includes the entire 3 nights accommodation tour from
travel to catering, entrance fees at the historical monuments, visit to the
parks, cultural programs and boat rides., meals on board, conducted sightseeing
tours in deluxe coaches.
Day 1 : Jaipur
Boarding at 6.30 pm and travel through the night to Bikaner.
Day 2 : Bikaner
Reaches Bikaner 6 am in the morning with breakfast on board. From 8.30 am,
sightseeing tour of Bikaner including the Camel breeding farm which is among
the best in the world. The city has many Around the city viewing the magnificent
buildings and discovering the rich and vast culture of Rajasthan through its
endless monuments. Visit the amazing Karni Mata Temple. Relaxing for a tea
at the Gajner before returning to the train for dinner and overnight.
Day 3 : Nawalagarh/Mandawa

Visiting
the places of Nawalagarh and Mandawa, a small town with bustling streets and
a fort built in 18th century. Explore the Havelis ornately decorated with interesting
frescoed paintings on the walls. Later depart for Ramgarh, the green oasis located
on a picturesque lake. Return to the train in the evening overnight on board.
Day 4 : Jaipur
Arrive in Jaipur and disembark after having a sumptuous breakfast in the luxury
train.
